PAYMENT
All products remain Backwoods Gallery Pty Ltd's property until full payment is made. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Shipping costs and payment fees are recognised before confirming the purchase. If you are under 18 years old you must have parents' permission to buy from Backwoods Gallery Pty Ltd.
All transfers conducted through Backwoods Gallery Pty Ltd are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Please read the terms & conditions for the payment gateway chosen for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.
LOCAL TAXES
Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense.

SECTION 4 - THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
Our store is hosted on Squarespace Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Squarespace’s data storage, databases and the general Squarespace application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Stripe stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
Backwoods Gallery Pty Ltd is committed to ensuring the satisfaction of our art collectors. That's why once you’ve received an original artwork, we'll give you 7 days to decide whether or not you’d like to keep that artwork or return it for a refund or exchange.
Original artworks, editions and products are valid for return 7 days after the date you received the order.
You may return any eligible item, provided that it is returned to us in its original condition and packaging.
Only regular priced items may be returned, exchanged or refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, books, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are textile, intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases such as paint.
There are certain situations where refunds are not granted:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery
- Any item that was on sale at time of purchase
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 25 Easey Street, Collingwood, VIC, 3066 with trackable shipping and insurance applied.
You will be responsible for paying for your own trackable shipping and insurance costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return trackable shipping and insurance will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item, you must consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Please do not send your purchase back to the artist or producer.
