‘A Chance for Possibility’ explores painting as a way to reveal uncensored purposes, an unfiltered state of being, a platform for hands to solve the riddle. Painting is a vehicle in which I can travel backwards and forwards in time to understand who I was, and see who I am becoming.
Days at the studio emerged as a diary for expressions and devotion, an eye on what I could not see. It is this voyage that develops my sense of wellbeing on an ongoing basis, a marker for both time and possibility.The practice allows me to traverse what it means to feel connection, to feel understood.
My body and my hands move through the labyrinths of color. Forms oscillate between puzzles and completeness. Each painting carries their own lesson and language, not just with me, but with one another, and with those that choose to sync in with them.
